MISSIONS
First Presbyterian Church participates in mission trips throughout the year. This past year the youth group traveled to Nashville, Tenesse to work with 3 local nonprofit organizations. During this trip the group recorded a CD which is available for sale with proceeds funding future youth group activities. Additionally, an adult mission trip traveled to Iowa in October to assist an area damaged by recent floods.

Mission Work Within the Church
The youth group is rolling out a new
program making themselves available to congregants for small tasks and projects. These
tasks may require only 2 -3 youth, as opposed to the
whole group, allowing us to reach more people through smaller work
groups.
If you have a need or a task where you feel the
youth could be of assistance, please contact:
Please be aware that these students are very
busy so we will need to work with them on the specific tasks and time availability. This is being provided as
mission work, however, all free will donations will be gladly accepted to offset youth group mission costs.

In July 2009, the youth group
traveled to Nashville, Tennesse to work with 3 local nonprofit organizations. During this trip the group had the opportunity to go into a live recording
studio and record this CD of some of their favorite songs.
